Lauren Eddie is a creative and technical writer based in Portland, Oregon. She's a lesbian from North Carolina currently working as an Information Developer for IBM.

 

She holds an MFA in Creative writing from UNC-Wilmington, and an MS in Technical Communication from NC State.

 

Her fiction writing has earned her scholarships from Grub Street, SCBWI, and the NC Writers’ Conference. She was a 2018 finalist for the BPL Writer-in-Residence Program.

Themes in her fiction include queer domesticity, food trauma, modern feminisms, and the effects of mental illness on family.
